The Dengue IgG/IgM/NS1 Combo Card Test is a rapid immunochromatographic assay that simultaneously detects Dengue NS1 antigen, and IgG and IgM antibodies in human serum, plasma, or whole blood. This test provides a comprehensive diagnostic tool for both early and later stages of dengue virus infection:
NS1 Antigen: Detectable from Day 1 to Day 5 of fever, indicating an active dengue infection.
IgM Antibodies: Typically appear around Day 4–5 and indicate a recent or primary infection.
IgG Antibodies: Appear later and indicate a past or secondary dengue infection.
This combined test allows clinicians to identify the stage of infection accurately, improving early diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment. Results are available in 15–20 minutes, making it ideal for quick screening in clinical and field settings. While it provides high sensitivity and specificity, positive results should be clinically correlated and may be confirmed by ELISA or PCR if needed.
