The Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) test measures the level of TSH in your blood. TSH is produced by the pituitary gland and regulates the production of thyroid hormones (T3 and T4) by the thyroid gland. These hormones control your body’s metabolism, energy levels, temperature, and more.

Abnormal TSH levels may indicate:
